MONICA VICENT

MONICA VICENT | COORDINATOR

Monica is the Director of Nuevo Amanecer Academy Toddler and Pre-School Program. She has a degree in accounting from the University of Zulia in Venezuela.
Monica worked as an accountant for a company in Venezuela for over 25 years. Even though she did not have a background in teaching Monica grew up with a love for the Teaching Profession. Both her Parents were Teachers and she saw the hard work and love they had for their careers.
When Monica moved to the United States she found herself having to reinvent herself and find a new career path and what better career than one in teaching. She quickly obtained all certifications required for Preschool and Childcare and started working in different Spanish Immersion Programs in Washington County. She started working with Amanecer Academy since its opening in late 2018 and has quickly gained the love of parents and children alike.
She is detail oriented, highly organized and has a passion for continuing education in the area of Child Development. She recently completed the course requirements for her CDA and is waiting for her practical exam.
Monica says about Amanecer: “I love working with children and creating a sense of safety, love and support for them. I have a passion for continuing education and giving children the tools to develop both intellectually and emotionally. I think that at Amanecer Academy my main focus is working with children to provide them with a toolbox for emotional regulation techniques that can build their emotional IQ.
At the end of the day it all begins and ends with love and here at Amanecer Academy we provide a loving environment that feels like a home.”
